First of all, I would like to thank Sarawak Tourism Board & Sarawak Bloggers for giving me the opportunity to attend Rainforest World Music Festival(RWMF). This year would be my first time attending this event despite my 17 years living as a Sarawakian.

First of all, RWMF is an event whereby local & international bands come and perform from traditional music, to world fusion and contemporary world music. It is an annually held event at the Sarawak Cultural Village, Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia as there is no other perfect venue for this event. 

This year, RWMF is held on the 13th till the 15th of July. 

As a blogger attending this event, I personally think that this is not only an exciting event to go but also fun-filled too ! I get to learn how to dance the Brazilian flirt dance, dance the Bollywood way, dances from around the world and I also learned to play various kinds of instruments such as the bowed string instrument, anklungs etc through the workshops held in the afternoon. :D

Now I can not only flirt the Brazilian way, I can also lose weight by doing the Kwasa Kwasa(Mr Kanda Bongo Man) . I think I've lost a lot of weight due to the dancing, and jumping and running around the Dewan Lagenda. OH! I forgot to mention ..... me and my friend even got souvenirs from Diplomats of Drums cause we shamelessly danced on the stage with 2 other people. HAHA.

RWMF also provides booths for people who are interested in selling or promoting their products. & since Heineken is the main sponsor, there were Heineken booths everywhere. Unfortunately, I am too young to drink HAHA. Besides that, there were also booths like Air Brush tattoos(email me to know the best Air Brush tattoo place in Kuching!), traditional art crafts, MyChicken Restaurant, Fullhouse Restaurant etc. There were also places where people set up traditional games and crafts in Sarawak such as the gasing and pottery making !

That night I was walking around the SCV compound, where I spotted a banner. YOU KNOW WHAT IT SAYS?! YOU WANNA KNOW?! It says that RWMF will be held on the 28th, 29th and 30th of June next year. So be ready and be fast to grab your tickets .... which will only be selling next year. LOL
